friends make the best scribes!
Our scribes realize the multiple benefits they get out of scribing—from unprecedented exposure to the medical environment to amazing opportunities for learning on the job. In fact, many of our most qualified applicants apply for a scribe position because they are referred by a current scribe.
We want to congratulate Seth Sturgill, a Dallas-based PhysAssist Scribe, who referred friends to become scribes as part of our Scribe Referral Program. Like Seth, the candidates he recommended who became scribes got the opportunity to work alongside physicians in the ED, gaining invaluable experience to prepare them for a future in medicine. Seth won the grand prize of a $3,000 academic scholarship that he will be applying toward tuition, books or housing for graduate study. Seth works as a scribe on the East Dallas team in Rockwall and Greenville, TX.
The PhysAssist Scribe Referral Program encourages any current scribe to refer friends to apply for a scribe position, instructing the candidate to list their scribe friend as the referral source on their application. Every scribe who refers a candidate who becomes a scribe is entered to win a prize, including a scholarship like the one Seth received.
Special shout out to these Scribe Referral Program finalists who also received fantastic prizes for referring friends: Wojciech Dzieza of Naples, FL, Monica Perez of Hollywood, FL, and Chantelle Martinez of Las Vegas, NV.
Thank you to all of our scribes who help our PhysAssist Scribes teams grow. We love that you recognize the value in the experiences that you are gaining working in the ED. If you know someone who would be a great scribe, contact your Operations Manager or click here to have your friends apply.
