A core value at PhysAssist Scribes is to "help people help people." In the spirit of the holidays, we brought our company purpose to life by participating in the 2016 Angel Tree program for ACH Child & Family Services, located in Fort Worth, TX. We are so proud of our corporate team! They pulled together collecting nearly 350 gifts, valued at $2,500, which will be distributed among 30 local children in need, aged 1 to 15. We hope this helps bring joy and warmth to these children and their families this season!
Special thanks to the Culture Committee, PhysAssist Scribes' task force that organizes company-wide events and charity opportunities, for spearheading this effort. Although we all pitched in, the PhysAssist Scribes Finance Department went the extra mile—they turned up the holiday spirit by donning wacky sweaters and tearing up the aisles at a local Target in a gift-driven scavenger hunt. They took photos with Santa and even tried out their best mannequin challenges. We're so proud of this team for wracking up tons of gifts for our Angel Tree kids!
Earlier this year, PhysAssist Scribes supported ACH Child & Family Services in another effort for kids, donating $1,500 in school supplies. We are pleased to support this organization that brings resources and skills to struggling children and their families. By living our purpose of "helping people help people" at work and in our charitable efforts, we can only hope to help others thrive.
