Posted by Jill Russell on Dec 22, 2016 9:44:24 AM

A core value at PhysAssist Scribes is to "help people help people." In the spirit of the holidays, we brought our company purpose to life by participating in the 2016 Angel Tree program for ACH Child & Family Services, located in Fort Worth, TX. We are so proud of our corporate team! They pulled together collecting nearly 350 gifts, valued at $2,500, which will be distributed among 30 local children in need, aged 1 to 15. We hope this helps bring joy and warmth to these children and their families this season!

Leadership Conference Summer 2016

Posted by Sarah de Verges on Aug 31, 2016 4:03:33 PM

From August 16 to 17, 2016, we were pleased to bring together more than 100 individuals from across the nation for the biannual PhysAssist Scribes Leadership Conference. Chief Scribes, Lead and Head Trainers, as well as new and tenured  corporate employees, gathered at the Hurst Conference Center in Hurst, TX, for an exciting event.

What started in 2012 as a small group of Chief Scribes meeting with home office members for team building and training development has now turned into a large-scale trade-show style forum for collaboration, sharing of ideas and leadership training.

Have photos from the August Leadership Conference? Instagram them! #PHYSLC16.

Life Behind The Scrubs

Posted by Sophie Penkrat on Aug 26, 2016 1:40:16 PM

we've got talents, oh yes we do!

It takes a lot of smarts, time and energy to be a medical scribe. Likewise, a lot of effort and know-how goes into nurturing and managing scribes and teams on the ground and in the emergency department. With all of the hustle and bustle in the ED and behind the scenes, it's easy to forget that each person involved in the common goal of assisting our providers is an individual—each with a unique personality and abilities.

Honoring Another Set of Stellar Scribes!
The PhysAssist Scribes Recognition Program, Scribe of the Month (SOTM), spotlights our scribes who go above and beyond. We look for hard working individuals who embody the essence of what it means to be a scribe; those who are sincere, caring, responsive, innovative, balanced and efficient.

How it Works
Each month, outstanding scribes at various facilities are nominated as SOTM by their peers. At the end of 2016, one of these scribes will be rewarded as Scribe of the Year for their excellence and service. Learn more about the PhysAssist Scribes Recognition Program here

Implementing 30+ Scribe Programs Across the Country

Growing a new scribe program from the bottom-up is no simple feat, especially when nearly 35 are being implemented simultaneously. At PhysAssist Scribes, we're specialists at implementing a scribe program and always turn to our experts to help—our Certified Trainer Scribes (CTS). CTSs are seasoned medical scribes who travel to our newest locations to teach EMR navigation, proper charting and generally the ins-and-outs of the emergency department. They also help ED physicians to acclimate working with scribes in order to maximize efficiency during their shifts.
