CELEBRATING 2 EXTRAORDINARY INDIVIDUALS FOR AMAZING WORK!

Our medical scribes are bright, hardworking and dedicated to doing the best that they can—and then they do even more! Many of them balance school with studying for the MCATs and families, just to name a few of their grueling of responsibilities. We understand that each and every one of them goes above and beyond to perform, even when the emergency department is in overdrive.

Fall & Winter 2016 SOTM

Posted by Sophie Penkrat on Dec 30, 2016 1:34:47 PM
We're so proud of our scribe of the month winners!

Our scribes work tirelessly day and night in the trenches of the emergency department alongside the best doctors practicing medicine. Every single one of them is amazing! Sometimes there are a handful of scribes who go above and beyond. The PhysAssist Scribe of the Month (SOTM) program was developed to recognize a few stellar individuals each month—ones who embody the essence of what it means to be a scribe. We view these attributes as sincere, caring, responsive, innovative, balanced and efficient.

CHIEF SCRIBES, LEAD TRAINERS & CORPORATE TAKE ON LEADERSHIP TRAINING (& FUN!)

From August 16 to 17, 2016, we were pleased to bring together more than 100 individuals from across the nation for the biannual PhysAssist Scribes Leadership Conference. Chief Scribes, Lead and Head Trainers, as well as new and tenured  corporate employees, gathered at the Hurst Conference Center in Hurst, TX, for an exciting event.

What started in 2012 as a small group of Chief Scribes meeting with home office members for team building and training development has now turned into a large-scale trade-show style forum for collaboration, sharing of ideas and leadership training.

Next step for Scribes: Med School

Posted by Sarah de Verges on Jul 14, 2016 4:56:22 PM

Ask a former scribe what helped them most through their first year in med school or PA school, and you're likely to hear "being a scribe, of course!" At PhysAssist Scribes, we try to help all of our scribes achieve their healthcare career goals, be it advanced education or a job in the medical arena.

This year, we are so pleased that more than 1,175 PhysAssist Scribes have moved on into medical, PA or nursing programs. That's nearly half of all of our scribes! We are excited to see these young stars make the next step into bright futures as medical providers.
