This summer, PhysAssist Scribes worked to raise over $4,000 to help aid the American Heart Association efforts. Money was raised through a competition that pitted the different departments against each other. Each team was able to raise money in several ways: A penny war where you could either help your own efforts by adding pennies for your team or hurt other teams by adding silver coins, and through promoting additional external donations online via our very own customized t-shirts, and hearts honoring friends and family members.
A core value at PhysAssist Scribes is to "help people help people." In the spirit of the holidays, we brought our company purpose to life by participating in the 2016 Angel Tree program for ACH Child & Family Services, located in Fort Worth, TX. We are so proud of our corporate team! They pulled together collecting nearly 350 gifts, valued at $2,500, which will be distributed among 30 local children in need, aged 1 to 15. We hope this helps bring joy and warmth to these children and their families this season!
Team spirit is always something to celebrate, especially when you're widespread across 36 states! Although PhysAssist Scribes is in hospitals around the country, we are an incredible community that is bound together under the mantra of people working together to help people.
